PuzOdyssey App Privacy Policy

This page covers the PuzOdyssey iOS app. Store orders, shipping, returns, and checkout policies are handled separately on our shopping site.

PuzOdyssey is made by MITANG TRADE CO., LIMITED. PuzOdyssey is built for people who work on puzzles over time. The app is designed to be private by default: you can create puzzles, save progress photos, write notes, finish a puzzle, and make a Memory Book without creating an account.

What stays on your device

Your puzzle albums, progress photos, notes, Memory Books, and app settings are stored on your device unless you choose to sign in and turn on cloud backup.

If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, we may not be able to recover your local memories.

What we collect if you sign in

Creating an account is optional. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email code for cloud backup. If you sign in for cloud backup, we collect:

• your email address or privacy relay email, to sign you in and identify your account
• a user ID generated by our authentication provider
• your PuzOdyssey backup file, which can include puzzle names, piece counts, notes, progress photos, and Memory Book content

We use this data to provide app functionality: cloud backup, restore, sign-out, and account deletion.

Photos and notes

PuzOdyssey uses your camera and photo library only when you choose to add a puzzle progress photo or save a Memory Book share image. We do not access your photos in the background.

When cloud backup is enabled, your selected puzzle photos and notes are included in your backup so they can be restored later. Cloud backup is for lawful puzzle progress photos only.

Optional emails

If the app offers puzzle inspiration emails, that option is off by default. We only use your email for those messages if you explicitly opt in, and you can unsubscribe or contact us at any time.

Where data is stored

Cloud sign-in and backup are operated with Supabase. Apple and Google sign-in are used only to authenticate your PuzOdyssey account. Backups are stored in a private storage bucket under your user account. Data is encrypted in transit.

Tracking and advertising

PuzOdyssey does not sell your personal information. PuzOdyssey does not use your photos, notes, or Memory Books for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

PuzOdyssey does not include Facebook sign-in or Facebook SDKs in the v1 iOS app.

Sharing

When you share a Memory Book image, you choose where to send it using the iOS share sheet. The destination app or service handles that shared image under its own privacy practices.

Your choices

You can:

• use PuzOdyssey without an account
• export a local backup file
• restore from a local backup file
• sign out of cloud backup
• delete your cloud account and cloud backup from inside the app
• delete local data from this phone

Account deletion

If you delete your cloud account in PuzOdyssey, we delete your Supabase account record, cloud backup files, and related profile data. Memories already stored locally on your phone remain on that phone unless you delete local data.

Children

PuzOdyssey is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the Last updated date.
